Reuters - (Reuters) - Barcelona have a doubt over midfielder Xavi as they prepare to go on the offensive in their Champions League quarter-final second leg against AC Milan on Tuesday. The 32-year-old Spain international came on as a substitute against Athletic Bilbao in La Liga at the weekend and has missed the last two training sessions. "His calf has been playing up for the last couple of days and we preferred not to force it today," coach Pep Guardiola told a news conference on Monday. The hosts, leading 1-0 in the two-test series, made two changes in the team that won the first test in Galle by 75 runs. Rescued round-the-world yacht racers go to hospital

Reuters - ALAMEDA, California (Reuters) - Two injured crew members from an Australian yacht taking part in a round-the-world race were ferried safely to shore on Monday by a Coast Guard cutter that rescued them after a towering wave smashed into their sailboat. British competitor Jane Hitchens, 50, and her crew mate, Nik Brbora, 29, a Croatian native who now lives in England, arrived in San Francisco Bay in late afternoon and were taken to a local hospital in Alameda. ...
