Tube chiefs sorry after new map ruffles Dutch feathers

Reuters - LONDON (Reuters) - Inspired by the 2012 Olympics, London transport chiefs created a special version of their underground railway map by replacing stations with the names of sporting greats but they left out one of the most famous of all. While present-day athletes like Usain Bolt were well represented among the 361 names, Fanny Blankers-Koen was missing. Moggi loses appeal against life ban over 2006 fixing case

Reuters - (Reuters) - Former Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi has lost an appeal against his life ban from Italian football over a 2006 match-fixing affair, the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) said on Wednesday. The decision comes as Italy faces up to a new fixing scandal involving Bari with daily revelations filling the newspapers only months after Atalanta were embroiled in their own controversy over betting and match manipulation.
