Baltimore radio icon Ron Smith is retiring. The veteran WBAL broadcaster announced he is in home hospice with pancreatic cancer and he can no longer do his radio show.

TORONTO - Health Canada has revoked its approval of the drug Avastin as a treatment for metastatic breast cancer. The announcement comes 10 days after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration took the same step.
