Closing arguments are scheduled Wednesday morning in the trial of a Dewey woman whose 16-month-old child was severely scalded early this year in a bathtub incident at their home. Danielle Connor, 24, is charged with child neglect in connection with the injuries to her daughter, who sustained second- and third-degree burns over 30 percent of her body and required skin grafts to the back of one leg. |

A boxer dog that reportedly was pushed out of an SUV has no visible injuries on his body and is active, Huron County Dog Warden Gary Ousley said. The dog is staying at the pound. Ousley estimated the female boxer to be nearly 4 years old and weigh 40 to 45 pounds. |
