(Blank Headline Received)LONDON (Reuters) - Croatia midfielder Niko Kranjcar has signed a one-year loan deal with Queens Park Rangers who have also brought in Cameroon defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto and England under-21 midfielder Tom Carroll from Tottenham Hotspur. The English Championship club's manager Harry Redknapp, who failed to keep Rangers in the Premier League last season, has been reunited with 29-year-old Dynamo Kiev player Kranjcar for a third time having worked with him at Spurs and Portsmouth. "Niko's a crowd pleaser - he gets people off their seats," Redknapp told the club's website (www.qpr.co.uk). ...

West Brom break club record by signing Sessegnon

(Blank Headline Received)(Reuters) - West Bromwich Albion broke their transfer record just minutes before the window closed by buying forward Stephane Sessegnon from Sunderland on Monday. The exact price was undisclosed but the English Premier League club said on their website (www.wba.co.uk) that it surpassed the fee they paid Reading for striker Shane Long in August 2011. Benin international Sessegnon, 29, has signed a three-year contract with Albion. He started all but seven of Sunderland's league games in the last two seasons, scoring 14 goals.

PARIS (Reuters) - Algeria midfielder Ryad Boudebouz has joined Ligue 1 side Bastia on a three-year deal from Sochaux, the French clubs said on Monday. "Bastia are happy to announce they have signed the Sochaux midfielder for a one million euros fee, plus incentives," the Corsica club said on their website (www.sc-bastia.net). The 23-year-old attacking midfielder, who has 16 caps, has played 164 league games for Sochaux after coming through their youth academy.
