'CSI' Star's Arrest -- The INSANE Path of Destruction Top
Filed under: Gary Dourdan , car crash , Photo Galleries Gary Dourdan SMASHED his SUV into a parked 1969 Ford truck on the night he was arrested for drug possession in L.A. ... and now the owner of the truck says Gary refuses to pay for the damage. Cops had responded to the crash scene on June 13 ... after someone reported that Gary hit TWO parked cars around 3:30 AM. During the investigation, cops say they found ecstasy on Gary and arrested him for possession. The owner of the truck says her car was towed away from the scene ... but it remains in an impound lot because she can't afford to pay the bill ... and claims Gary is ducking her insurance company. Currently, Gary is not facing any criminal charges for the crash -- but we're told he's not off the hook .. because the D.A. could drop the hammer on the actor when they get the case. No comment from Gary's camp. Permalink

Lennon's Rep: John Was NO Reagan Supporter!! Top
Filed under: John Lennon , Elliot Mintz , Music One of the closest people in John Lennon' s life is calling B.S. on Lennon's former assistant ... claiming John believed in the message of " Imagine " until the day he died ... and was NOT a Ronald Reagan fan. TMZ spoke with Elliot Mintz ( pictured left ) -- Lennon's former publicist and close friend for nearly ten years -- who told us Fred Seaman 's claim that Lennon was "embarrassed" by the lyrics to "Imagine"... is pure nonsense. Mintz explains, "From the time I met John in 1971, until the end, all of those things he expressed in 'Imagine' were part of his belief system until the last breath of his life." "If you listen to the last recorded interviews that were done with John, you'll hear him express in his own words ... his own beliefs ... which are virtually identical to the beliefs he held in '71." As for Seaman, Elliot jabbed, "Apparently his memory was refreshed at the same time his documentary's release date was imminent ... Fred Seaman has a distorted revisionist view of history." Pauly D -- T-Shirt Slangin' for The Enemy Top
Filed under: Pauly D , Jersey Shore It's barely a day old, but  Pauly D is already undermining his brand new t-shirt business on the Jersey Shore -- and TMZ has learned, it's all because MTV is making him work for a nearby competitor. Pauly's " Dirty Couture Shore Store " opened for business yesterday on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights -- but the "Jersey" star couldn't help promote the big day ... because according to his contract with MTV, he's locked in to work exclusively at the infamous "Shore Store" t-shirt shop nearby. Sources close to production tell us, MTV controls EVERYTHING while the cast is filming -- and Pauly has no choice but to work with his roommates while they shoot the rest of Season 5 ... in enemy territory. As for Pauly's store -- we're told it will sell the DJ's complete "Dirty Couture" clothing line ... AKA a bunch of neon t-shirts with Pauly's tattoos printed on them. Permalink

'Restaurant' Winner -- Back Up Plan After Culinary Fail Top
Filed under: Famous Food Despite the fact his THREE restaurants closed within 2 months of opening, " America's Next Great Restaurant " winner Jamawn Woods has a job offer on the table ... from one of his biggest supporters. Woods is still technically an employee at the Chrysler automobile assembly plant in Michigan -- where he worked as a fork lift operator before trying out for the NBC reality show. When Woods made the finals, Chrysler presented him with an award for his accomplishment -- and granted him a one-year leave of absence to pursue his dream. But now that all of Jamawn's "Soul Daddy" restaurants have closed their doors -- a rep for Chrysler says the company intends to hold up their side of the bargain if Woods wants to come back to work ... adding, "He is still a part of our family." So far, no word from Jamawn. Permalink
