Reuters -  OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian politics is more rough and tumble than the country's reputation for civility might suggest. At times it can be downright bruising - literally - as demonstrated by the celebrity son of Pierre Trudeau, Canada's Liberal prime minister during the go-go 1960's. Justin Trudeau, a Liberal member of Parliament in his own right, climbed into an Ottawa boxing ring on Saturday night and delivered an upset thrashing to his Conservative adversary, Senator Patrick Brazeau. The bout, staged for an Ottawa cancer charity, was more than a good-natured publicity stunt. ...

Kentucky, Kansas to meet for national title

Reuters -  NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - Top seed Kentucky will face Kansas for the national basketball championship on Monday night after the two storied programs won their NCAA Tournament semi-final games at the Superdome on Saturday. Kentucky (37-2) took a bold step toward winning its eighth championship by defeating bitter intrastate rival Louisville 69-61, while Kansas (32-6) knocked off Ohio State, 64-62. The smooth-swinging South African recovered from bogeys on the first two holes to card a six-under-par 66 at the rain-softened Redstone Golf Club in the final PGA Tour event before next week's Masters. True, 58, was found in the mountainous Gila National Forest in southwest New Mexico, near the Arizona border in the early evening, said Tom Bemis, incident commander with the New Mexico State Police.
