It's not just about fuel prices. It's about the legacy carriers getting rid of the regional airlines because they don't like their contracts. Legacy carriers want back the seats they previously outsourced, which will bankrupt the regional carriers and put a bunch of pilots out of work. But hey, it's more fun for everyone to blame Obama instead of the mismanaged legacy carriers.
