Hillary Clinton holds a wide but tightening lead over Bernie Sanders in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, according to a new nationwide CNN/ORC Poll.
Among Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters, Clinton tops Sanders 52% to 38%, with former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley well behind at 2%. The Democratic electorate is sharply split along demographic lines.
The three candidates will make their closing arguments in a town hall airing on CNN tonight at 9 ET, just a week before the Iowa caucuses. Get compete coverage on CNN TV, CNN.com and CNN Mobile.
