Sen. Bernie Sanders drew distinctions between his policies and Hillary Clinton's during CNN's Democratic town hall. He pointed to his positions against the war in Iraq, in favor of Wall Street reforms, against the Keystone XL pipeline and against a trade deal with China -- areas where she has come around to his way of thinking.
Sanders said at the Iowa event that his "Medicare for all" plan would lead to higher taxes. "We will raise taxes. Yes, we will," Sanders said, arguing it would be worth the tradeoff given what American families would save on premiums.
Sanders, Hillary Clinton and Martin O'Malley are making their closing arguments in a town hall airing now on CNN, just a week before the Iowa caucuses. Get compete coverage on CNN TV, CNN.com and CNN Mobile.
