Longtime local Kevin Green killed in skiing accident

Kevin Green, an iconoclastic Tellurider and one of the region’s pioneering skiers, was killed Monday afternoon on the ski area when he collided with a rope. The fall, or the collision, fractured Green’s skull near the base of his brain and killed him instantly, according to San Miguel County Coroner Bob Dempsey.

In their experiments, the agent put a brake on growth of laboratory cancer cell lines, and no mice with glioblastoma in their brain died as a result of their tumor while on therapy.

This workout will take place on Saturday, May 1, from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Laguna Creek Racquet Club. Stebbins lost his battle with brain cancer on Nov. 2, 2009, after fighting for 15 months.
