Pope Francis has departed Philadelphia and is returning to Rome after wrapping up his first visit to the United States.
The six-day whirlwind trip followed a visit to Cuba and included stops at Capitol Hill, the White House, the United Nations and ground zero.
Francis said he is leaving with "a heart full of gratitude and hope."
