Easter Bunny roughed up outside NY sweet shop

AP - Police said a woman dressed as the Easter Bunny to promote a Hudson Valley candy shop was slammed to the ground by a man who then ran away. The 46-year-old woman, who was dressed in a white bunny costume, was not seriously hurt in the attack around 5 p.m. Wednesday outside the Alps Sweet Shoppe on Main Street in the village of Fishkill. Vt. hotel evacuated after guest uses wrong plug

AP - Firefighters in a Vermont city said a hotel had to be evacuated in the middle of the night after a guest plugged a European DVD player into an American electrical outlet. Firefighters said the incompatible plug created a lot of smoke at the Comfort Inn and fire alarms were triggered early Tuesday throughout the 104-room hotel. Full Story
