Longtime local Kevin Green killed in skiing accident

Kevin Green, an iconoclastic Tellurider and one of the region’s pioneering skiers, was killed Monday afternoon on the ski area when he collided with a rope. The fall, or the collision, fractured Green’s skull near the base of his brain and killed him instantly, according to San Miguel County Coroner Bob Dempsey. |
