Former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle will plead guilty to possessing and distributing child pornography as well as traveling across state lines to have sex with at least two teenage girls, federal prosecutors say.
Fogle faces between five and 12 1/2 years in prison under a plea deal reached with prosecutors. Fogle will also adhere to a pornography ban, undergo treatment for sexual disorders and may not have unsupervised visits with minors.
Fogle became famous in 2000 when the sandwich chain released commercials centered on his claims that he dropped about 245 pounds in one year, thanks in part to a diet involving Subway subs.
Subway suspended its relationship with Fogle last month after investigators raided his Indiana home, and has since tweeted that it no longer has a relationship with him.
