The FDA has approved flibanserin, sometimes called "female Viagra," for the treatment of sexual dysfunction in premenopausal women.
In clinical trials, women taking the drug experienced a 37% increase in sexual desire, according to Sprout Pharmaceuticals, which makes the drug, brand name Addyi.
