Sources close to the production tell us, the untitled Judah film -- by producer Bruce Nash and writer Scott Abbott -- was fast-tracked once news broke that Mel was putting together his own Maccabee homage. We're told Nash believes Mel is the wrong person to helm such an important Jewish story -- telling friends, the Hanukkah tale should be told by someone who has respect for the Jewish community. As we previously reported, Mel's been developing his J Macc film for 10 years -- and sources tell us Nash has been working on his for 15. Nash doesn't have a shoot date yet, but the race is on. Chase claimed she sent Prince to Dr. Murray and returned to work. Chase admitted she didn't contact security -- a point highlighted by defense attorney J. Michael Flanagan. Yesterday, MJ's personal assistant Michael Amir Williams testified ... Murray called him at 12:13 PM, and Williams immediately phoned security. MJ's security guard Alberto Alvarez eventually called 911 at 12:21 -- between 11 and 16 minutes after Murray allegedly asked Chase for help. While Chase was leaving court today, we asked if she thought her testimony was helpful -- she responded, "Absolutely." | |

Alvarez claims he quickly arrived at the scene on June 25th, 2009 -- and saw Murray performing one-handed chest compressions on MJ, who was still in the bed. According to Alvarez, Murray immediately asked him to pack away several vials and an IV bag.  Alvarez claims there were two saline bags on the IV stand, but Murray cared only about the one that contained a vial with a "milky white substance." Alvarez claims Murray THEN asked Alvarez to call 911 -- at which point the dispatcher ordered him to move Michael from the bed to the floor in order to perform CPR. According to Alvarez, paramedics arrived soon after.  Defense attorney Ed Chernoff tried to get Alvarez to admit he may have been confused about the timing of the events -- but Alvarez insisted ... Murray ordered him to bag the vials BEFORE paramedics arrived. Alvarez says he has been offered enormous sums to provide interviews to media outlets -- as much as $500,000. The defense just showed footage inside a hospital room where MJ's body was relocated after the singer was pronounced dead -- and the place was crawling with cops. | |

TMZ spoke with Tony Quartarone -- the station owner at KISS 101.7 -- who tells us he's not upset with Tyrese because he took a stand against liquor stores ... instead, he claims the problem was the way the singer addressed his listeners. Quartarone says, "Tyrese was not kicked off the air for pointing out that liquor stores should not be located near schools ... I totally agree with that. But ... he proceeded to downgrade my audience by calling them 'homies.'" Quartarone says he felt the language was condescending -- and that's why he asked Tyrese to leave the building Monday morning. After Tyrese tweeted about the incident, Quartarone says he decided to ban Ty's music until he gets an apology. He probably won't get one -- Tyrese called in to "TMZ Live" yesterday and told us he simply didn't care if the station takes his music out of rotation. | |

TMZ has learned.Tampa Police tell TMZ, an officer observed Uso at approximately 3 a.m. driving the wrong way down a one-way street in a silver Mustang ... and pulled him over. According to the arrest report, Uso took a breathalyzer test after showing "multiple signs of impairment" -- including slurred speech and glassy eyes. The breathalyzer registered a blood alcohol level of .180 ... over twice the legal limit in Florida. Uso was arrested on the scene and is currently being held on $500 bond. Fun fact: Rikishi is The Rock's cousin -- which makes Uso ... Rock's second cousin? Genealogy is confusing. | |
