The New York Stock Exchange halted trading on Wednesday morning, saying it was experiencing a technical issue.
A previous glitch earlier in the day also stopped trading for a time.
The NYSE says it's "working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible" and will provide further updates as soon as it can.
U.S. markets were already down when trading stopped, with the Dow down 175 points.
