AP - Authorities say a couple, upset over the slowness of their Kentucky Fried Chicken order, assaulted a man who asked them to stop yelling profanities for the sake of children in line. Clerk: Show me the gun and I'll show you the money

AP - Police said a man's attempt to rob a convenience store was thwarted when a clerk demanded to see his gun. Authorities said a flustered Adam Alsarabi fled from the White Hen Pantry in Haverhill and later was caught in the woods by police. No gun was found on him. Police reported said the 22-year-old entered the store about 12:45 a.m. Friday, and told the clerk to give him money and that he had a gun. Full Story

La. woman accused of biting boyfriend's tongue

AP - Deputies arrested a blood-stained 39-year-old woman for allegedly biting her boyfriend's tongue during an argument. According to an arrest affidavit, the woman's boyfriend told deputies that she hit him over the head with a beer bottle during the disagreement. He said he attempted to kiss her to reconcile and she bit his tongue, causing it to bleed. Full Story

Nude man accused of pounding on cars on a highway

AP - A man who told officers he was a medical marijuana provider has been arrested for allegedly standing naked in a Colorado highway, pounding on passing cars and spitting at a state trooper.
