Obama's Treatment of Israel is Shocking
Sun, 28 Mar 2010 10:00 pm PDT
RealClearPolitics.com - President Obama's abysmal attitude toward the State of Israel and his humiliating treatment of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is shocking. In the Washington Post on March 24th, Jackson Diehl wrote, "Obama has added more poison to a U.S.-Israeli relationship that already was at its lowest point in two decades. Tuesday night the White House refused to allow non-official photographers record the president's meeting with Netanyahu; no statement was issued afterward. Netanyahu is being treated as if he were an unsavory Third World dictator, needed for strategic reasons but conspicuously held at arms length. That is something the rest of the world will be quick to notice and respond to." Full Story

Sat, 27 Mar 2010 10:00 pm PDT
RealClearPolitics.com - While nobody knows what effects the health care reform bill passed by Congress will have on health care in America, the battle around this legislation is very likely to have disastrous effects on the nation's cultural health. Vitriol, hate, hysteria and dishonesty and stark political polarization have reached new lows even for our time, with each side in the debate bandying about accusations of murder. Full Story

Mon, 29 Mar 2010 08:05 am PDT
The Christian Science Monitor - Battles over school curricula are not new. Now, it’s not just Darwin that’s the issue. If the far-right Republican majority on the Texas Board of Education has its way, many of the 48 million textbooks it buys per year, for 10 years, will represent a Republican partisan agenda and a new emphasis on Christian beliefs. Brent Bozell III - It seems like it's been quite some time since our National Endowment for the Arts has shocked the public with an outrageous grant for a ridiculous "artist" whose art flourishes only when the taxpayer is forced against his will to subsidize it. Sadly, that means these "artists" must take their talents elsewhere in search of public funding. Full Story
