A longtime public servant and larger-than-life figure -- sometimes criticized, sometimes championed, but never irrelevant -- Metro Petrosky died Thursday of complications from cancer. He was 70. Mr. Petrosky spent 20 years working for Washington County, first as the Clerk of Courts, later as a commissioner.
