A popular Alpharetta football coach died on Saturday of pancreatic cancer. Mike Scott was a teacher and football coach at Milton High School in Alpharetta. He taught and coached at the school for six years. Scott, 36, previously played football for the University of Kentucky and coached college football before working at Milton. Scott left behind his wife and two young children.
