Bill passes House to increase penalties for pipeline safety violations

The first of Gov. Tomblin’s bills introduced this session passed in the House Thursday, and will be sent to the Senate. That bill seeks to increase penalties for pipeline safety violations. Also, a gun related bill was introduced and a bill to prohibit an ineffective cancer treatment was on its second reading.
