Europe investigates Apple's iPhone tactics: FT  Sunday, May 26, 2013 07:20 PM PDT (Reuters) - The European Commission is investigating whether Apple Inc is using anti-competitive iPhone sales tactics and technical restrictions to squeeze out rival smartphone makers from the European market, according to documents seen by the Financial Times. According to a questionnaire sent last week to several European mobile network operators, the Commission is focusing on distribution terms that might favour Apple by ensuring no rival can secure a better sales deal, said the newspaper. Amazon workers in Germany set for second strike for higher pay  Sunday, May 26, 2013 03:02 PM PDT FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Workers at global internet retailer Amazon.com's German operations are set to go on a second daylong strike on Monday in a dispute over pay and benefits. Trade union Verdi is calling on workers at Amazon's logistics center in Leipzig to stop working from 12:30 p.m. ET, it said, after 600 workers at its facilities in Bad Hersfeld and around 300 in Leipzig went on strike on May 14. ...
