The five final major candidates for the presidency will sit down with CNN to discuss developments in the race, foreign policy and other issues just one day ahead of Tuesday's important Western contests in Utah, Arizona and Idaho.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leads the delegate count for the Democratic nomination and real-estate mogul Donald Trump leads the race for the Republican nomination.
Clinton, who has recently toned down attacks on Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, her opponent in the Democratic race, is expected to broaden her focus and turn her attention to her Republican rivals, specifically Trump.
The tycoon is expected to try to allay traditional Republicans’ fears about him and his freewheeling candidacy.
Sanders, who has won the votes of young people and independents in the Democratic race, also must find a way to persuade minority voters, a bedrock of the Democratic party.
On the Republican side, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is hoping to persuade the large population of Mormons in Utah and Arizona to support him. He had staked his path to the nomination largely on winning evangelical voters in the South, but lost many of those states to Trump.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich is a distant third in the overall GOP race. After his win in his home state primary, he is under pressure to prove he can win in other states.
