London’s financial district, known as the City of London, has voted to remain in the European Union. It’s the first district in the capital to declare a result in the once-in-a-generation referendum.
The final, nationwide result is expected to be announced Friday morning. Almost 46.5 million people were registered to take part in the historic vote.
