Donald Longueuil, Inside Trader Sentenced to Prison

photoDonald Longueuil (35) pled guilty April 28th to charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and securities fraud, and securities fraud.  Today he was sentenced to 30 months in prison (the government had sought 46-57 months)... so he got a good deal.  He is one of the first to be sentenced in the insider trading scandals that have rocked Wall Street.  Longueuil, had received insider tips from Winifred Jiau, who was convicted in June on insider-trade related charges.   One particular tip related to Marvell Technology Group (Nasdaq: MRVL) back in May 2008, which netted Empire a gain of $1. ...

Burgos thought it would be an absolutely brilliant idea to promote his infamy on Facebook and taunt police with the phrase "Catch me if you can, I'm in Brooklyn" on his personal Facebook page. Burgos continued down this path of pure genius by also posting a video of himself walking into an unidentified NYPD station house that's assumed to by located in Brooklyn.
