Ghana defender Paintsil arrested after wife attacked: police  Saturday, Feb 23, 2013 07:30 AM PST ACCRA (Reuters) - Ghanaian international soccer player John Paintsil was arrested but released on bail after he was accused of stabbing his wife, a police official said. Accra police spokesman Freeman Tettey said on Saturday the former West Ham United player was taken into custody on Friday after he was accused of the stabbing attack by a neighbour.
