ZURICH, Feb 25 (Reuters) - CONCACAF, which represents soccer in North and Central America and the Caribbean, has backed a proposal to limit the FIFA presidency to two four-year terms and to impose an age limit of 72 for the president. CONCACAF, whose 40 member associations compromise just under one fifth of the FIFA total of 209, also supported the same age limit for FIFA executive committee candidates, who would be limited to three four-year terms under the proposed reform. ...

Soccer-Futsal good option for Commonwealth Games, says CGF head

Feb 25 (Reuters) - Five-a-side indoor soccer, known as futsal, could feature in the Commonwealth Games after CGF President Prince Tunku Imran backed its inclusion amid calls from member associations for football to be added to the Games programme. The Malaysian, a former squash national champion, said futsal could be a cheaper option for hosts of the mutli-sport event held every four years for more than 70 countries, mostly of the former British Empire. ...
