No one outside the plant was hurt by the blasts, which began at about 10:30 p.m. local time at the Blue Rhino propane gas filling station in the town of Tavares, about 40 miles northwest of Orlando, said John Herrell, a Lake County sheriff's spokesman. ...

The British oil company has just $300 million left in the fund, and the deadline to file a business economic loss claim among Gulf coast businesses - which make up the bulk of claims -is not until April next year. State-run Petronas said in a statement that the remaining plants within the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) complex will be commissioned in 2018. Previously local media had cited Petronas CEO Shamsul Azhar Abbas as saying the start date for phase one of the RAPID project had been pushed back to early 2017. ...

Egypt probes blast near Suez Canal, shipping unaffected: sources

ISMAILIA, Egypt (Reuters) - Egyptian security forces are investigating reports of an explosion near the Suez Canal on Tuesday, security officials said. An official in the Suez Canal Authority said shipping was operating as normal. Witnesses said they heard an explosion around dawn near a residential area about one kilometer from the canal. Three security officials speaking on condition of anonymity said they had received reports of a blast and were investigating its cause. There were no immediate reports of any deaths or injuries. LONDON (Reuters) - Government incentives for affected communities must be followed up by education and job creation to convince a sceptical British public that fracking for shale oil and gas is right, according to a survey of industry professionals. Some 70 percent of almost 200 respondents to the survey by data provider Rigzone believe the British government was right to offer incentives to communities where hydraulic fracturing, known as fracking, and horizontal drilling will be used. The newly formed company will own limited partner interests in Plains AAP, which owns a 2 percent general partner stake in Plains All American Pipeline LP, a midstream company that transports, refines and sells liquid gas.
