The number of people unaccounted for in the Washington landslide has dropped from 90 to 30, according to Jason Biermann with Snohomish County Emergency Management.
He said the official death toll rose Saturday by one, to 18.
Earlier Saturday, officials eulogized the rural residents of Darrington and nearby Oso who lost their lives when a hillside collapsed and obliterated everything in its square-mile path one week ago.
