Dr. Kent Brantly is the American Ebola patient on the medical plane that is flying to Georgia from Liberia today, said Todd Shearer, spokesman for Christian charity Samaritan's Purse.
The hope is that the other U.S. Ebola patient in Liberia, Nancy Writebol, can be brought back to the United States early next week, Shearer said.
