The 160 travelers on China Eastern Airlines have been delayed since Sunday afternoon by problems with the landing gear on their aircraft. About 160 China Eastern Airlines passengers remained stranded in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, more than two days after their flight to Shanghai was delayed because of problems with the plane's landing gear.

A Chinese-born engineer stole trade secrets critical to the U.S. space program and passed them to China for three decades without detection, a federal prosecutor in Santa Ana said Tuesday during opening statements.
