Migrating gray whale using Marina del Rey channel as rest stop

The 20-foot-long California gray whale has been coming in and out of the channel for about a week. Experts say it appears healthy, so they have no plans to lure it out yet. Blanca Wilterdink was on her regular walk Friday along the Marina del Rey channel when a stranger stopped and asked if she had heard about the whale.
