O.C. attorneys seek removal of flag with Confederate emblem

The bar association calls for the removal of Mississippi's banner, which includes the Confederate emblem, from Santa Ana's Civic Center, where the flags of all 50 states are displayed. A group of Orange County attorneys is calling for the removal of the Mississippi state flag from a display at Santa Ana's downtown Civic Center, saying that it symbolizes hatred and racism.

The shooting deaths of four family members at a Fontana home is being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide, police said Tuesday.

For Los Angeles residents, the perfect holiday gift this year might have been a reusable grocery bag.
