Michael Phelps of the United States has won the gold medal in the men's 200-meter butterfly swimming event at the Rio Olympics.
It is Phelps' 20th gold medal and avenges his loss in his signature event to Chad le Clos of South Africa in London in 2012.
Masato Sakai of Japan won the silver medal and Tamas Kenderesi of Hungary took bronze.
