The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office received a complaint of a Residential Burglary at 2217 Eastmere Drive in Harvey on Friday and located the body of Donald Bates in the rear of the residence with apparent gun shot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. |

They may be able to restore physical functions, and even teach the newly disabled person to be mobile with what faculties they have left. But they cannot transplant confidence. |
