The comedies "Transparent" and "Veep" were the big early winners at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.
Actor Jeffrey Tambor won best actor in a comedy for "Transparent" and Julia Louis-Dreyfus won the Emmy for lead actress in a comedy for HBO's "Veep."
Actor-comedian Andy Samberg is hosting the live show, expected to run until about 11 pm ET.
