Republican presidential candidates slammed Planned Parenthood at their CNN debate and advocated defunding the organization in the upcoming budget negotiations in Congress.
"This is about the character of our nation, and if we will not stand up and force President Obama to veto this bill, shame on us," Carly Fiorina said to applause.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich pushed for a different way to strip the group's government funding, suggesting that Americans would blame Republicans in the event of another government shutdown.
