The city of Ferguson, Missouri, has sworn in its first African-American police chief, Delrish Moss, formerly of the Miami Police Department.
Moss is tasked with helping rebuild the Ferguson Police Department after violent protests and federal intervention that followed the 2014 shooting of African-American teenager Michael Brown by a white police officer.
