A Shelby mother and stepfather have been charged with murder in connection with the death of the woman's 2-year-old boy. Kathy Swafford, 20, and husband Dwight Justice, 42, were being held without bond in the Cleveland County Detention Center on Saturday evening on charges of murder and child abuse. Autopsy reveals more clues to body found in car

A preliminary autopsy report from the Mississippi State Medical Examiners Office indicates that the person found by authorities in a burned car on Wednesday apparently died from smoke inhalation and internal injuries. |
