Former UND President Charles Kupchella is recovering from a heart attack and triple bypass surgery. Kupcella, 67, suffered "a fairly mild episode" Jan. 29 while he and his wife, Adele, were visiting their son's home in Bowling Green, Ky., he said Saturday.
