Women̢۪s center designed to lessen fears of medical procedure

The Women̢۪s Center celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday with the Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce. Kristen Watkins, director of imaging services, said the atmosphere is less clinical and harsh to calm anxieties for the procedure to detect breast cancer. She added though the front waiting room is nice, it gets better after that.
