Murder victim Ashley Patterson, 14, was found dead in a Pueblo West field on March 29. Following an autopsy of the victim, Coroner James Kramer confirmed the girl died from asphyxiation and strangulation. Signs of physical injury on the body also make investigators believe the Pueblo West Middle School seventh-grader was sexually assaulted. |
