CNN Breaking News

A jury has found James Holmes guilty on all 165 counts against him, including multiple counts of first-degree murder, in the July 2012 Aurora, Colorado, movie theater shooting that left 12 people dead. He could face the death penalty.

He faced two counts of first-degree murder for each of the 12 victims.

Holmes, who had pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, stood with his hands in his pockets and showed no reaction as each verdict was announced.

The jury also found Holmes guilty of attempted murder on all 140 counts for the 70 people wounded in the shooting. Additionally, he was found guilty of one count of possession or control of an explosive or incendiary device.
