An Indonesian domestic flight with 54 people on board lost contact with air traffic control in Papua province today, Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency said on Twitter.
The Trigana Air Service flight left Sentani Airport in Jayapura and was headed to Oksibil. Ludi Yantio, a search-and-rescue official, told CNN Indonesia that officials will conduct an air search Monday because it was getting dark.
