The music scene was rattled last week, as Tag Graves, famed musician and longtime Fort Myers Beach resident, lost his battle with Stage 4 liver cancer, passing away Monday, Dec. 19, at the age of 59.

Doctor: Airport scanner ups cancer risk

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Some airport scanners may pose a cancer threat for people over age 65 and women genetically predisposed to breast cancer, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., doctor said.
