A search is underway for a fourth sailor on the 37-foot boat, which was taking part in the Newport-to-Ensenada race. The accident is California's second ocean racing tragedy this month. A yacht racing off the coasts of California and Mexico apparently collided with a much larger vessel, killing three crew members and leaving one missing, a sailing organization said early Sunday.

Elizabeth Reamer Palmer, a former longtime resident of Pacific Palisades, died peacefully April 9 in San Luis Obispo. She was 94. Elizabeth was born August 8, 1917 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Ebern and Lillie Reamer. She was the older sister to Ebern 'Bud' Reamer and Victor Reamer.
