CNN Breaking News

CNN's Top 10 Heroes of 2015, everyday people doing remarkable things to make the world a better place, have been announced by Anderson Cooper.

Each will receive $10,000 and be honored at "CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute," a globally broadcast event that airs on CNN December 6. Now, voting begins to choose which of the Top 10 will be CNN Hero of the Year. The hero with the most votes will receive an additional $100,000 for their cause.

CNN's Top 10 Heroes for 2015 are:
-Jim Withers of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
-Monique Pool of Suriname
-Richard Joyner of Conetoe, North Carolina
-Maggie Doyne of Surkhet, Nepal
-Sean Gobin of Charlottesville, Virginia
-Bhagwati Agrawal of Vienna, Virginia
-Kim Carter of San Bernardino, California
-Rochelle Ripley of Glastonbury, Connecticut
-Jody Farley-Berens of Scottsdale, Arizona
-Daniel Ivankovich of Chicago, Illinois
