CNN Breaking News

A NORAD surveillance blimp that broke loose from its mooring in Maryland is on the ground and secured, Pennsylvania State Police said.

A cable connected to the untethered aircraft dragged the ground in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, and caused power outages, a Columbia County official said.

Two F-16s scrambled from the New Jersey National Guard tracked the JLENS aerostat during its flight, a Pentagon official said.
